Shogun @ 1 utama

My friend, Becky came down from Singapore for a short weekend break. She decided to treat her family, my mom and me Japanese Buffet Dinner. And I was damn excited of course!

Initially, Becky wanted to go Starhill's Jogoya. That explains why I asked some of you about Jogoya. Then because of something, she changed her mind and finally decided on Shogun @ 1 utama.



I've been to Shogun last year for a friend's farewell party and absolutely loved that place. Reached Shogun at 6.45pm and let the eating spree begin! I only manage to take a picture of my first plate..



Before the dude came by and stopped me from taking pictures. I dont get it. Why dont they allow people take picture?

So Shogun is placed at the new wing of 1utama, and its pretty pack almost everytime. -_- Please do Book before u go esp during weekends. The service there is pretty good. Least its worth paying for la.



If i am not wrong, Shogun and Saisaki is from the same owner. I think. -_-" I went Saisaki last year also. Sad to say, I seriously think Shogun dropped their standard. =/ The sushi wasnt very fresh. But they upgrade abit, and now got serve Green tea ice cream! =D



Another sad case was, althou they served green tea ice cream. It tasted horrible. =( It was as if the ice cream melted then they placed it back into the fridge. The water, the rough rough texture. Ewww...But they still have their lovely waffles. Hehe!

Their miso soup never changed, their japanese steam egg thing, garh forgot what its called is still the same. They have this tempura fried with pumpkin, taste pretty good. The one they served was not soft..at all. -_- Oh there's this fried chili mantis prawn that taste pretty good. Wanna make my crappy restaurant chef to cook it. -_-

Then there was the Cod Fish, aww man..I love cod fish to death. But their cod fish is like the cheap one. I like Cod fish because they have this really soft texture and sweet taste to it.

Why Shogun..Why?!?!
